Red Nose Day 19th March 2021
The last 12 months have been incredibly tough for all of us, but we are so proud of how our pupils have managed. As parents and carers, you have also had your lives turned upside down, and we are so grateful for all of your efforts supporting your children.
That’s why we want to let you know that we think you’re the best and could do with some fun. Which is why we’re inviting you to enjoy Red Nose Day with us on Friday 19th March.
We know there is a lot going on, and things will look a bit different this year, but we can’t wait to raise a smile and some life-changing money.
Here is what we have got planned:
We are asking children to wear something red on Friday 19th March suggested donation of £1 please. All money will be donated to Comic Relief 2021. We are asking children not to bring red noses into the academy however, if they would like to, they can paint a red nose on at home before the academy day starts. Children will be taking part in various activities during the academy day.
All pupils will be taking part in a joke competition within their class, and we are asking parents to tune in to our Friday Celebration Assembly via Facebook to vote for their favourite.
However much we raise, we’ll be helping change lives in the UK and across the world.
As well as taking the opportunity to be part of something really positive, we will be using Red Nose Day as a learning opportunity. We will explore the issues facing young people across the world, and how the money we raise can help.
So get Friday 19th March in the diary and prepare to have some fun.
