As part of our history work on The Stone Age, your child will have the opportunity to revisit The Cleveland Ironstone Mining Museum for a “Talking Rocks” session. This will take place on Friday 15th November. We will be rock hunting and then learning about rock formation.
The children will be travelling by bus. We will leave the academy at 9.15am and return in time for home time.
Children will need to bring a packed lunch including a drink. Children on free school meals will receive a packed lunch from school, which includes a small drink. It would also be advisable to send an additional drink with your child, on that day.
All children must wear their T-shirt and school jumper or cardigan, but they can wear non-uniform trousers. A warm, waterproof coat along with wellies or sturdy shoes would be recommended.
