Dear Parent/Carer,
On Wednesday 15th June Reception will be visiting Newham Grange Farm as part of our curriculum. We will leave the academy at 9.30am and we will be arriving back at school for collection at the usual time.
During the day, the children will enjoy meeting and learning all about farm animals.
The academy will be subsidising this visit, but we ask for a parental contribution of £ 4.00 per child. Please pay this by Wednesday 8th June.
Children will require a packed lunch as well as their own drink with a re-sealable top. Please indicate below whether you would like school to provide your child with a packed lunch or if your child will be bringing their own packed lunch with them.
They must wear suitable clothing and footwear (wellies or trainers), as they will be walking around the farm for most of the day. Tracksuit or jogging bottoms are advised along with their usual school top and jumper. In addition to this, please ensure your child has a warm, water-proof coat and hat if the weather is cold or a sun hat and sun cream applied before school if the weather is going to be hot and sunny.

It's that time of year once again. The final Friday has come and it's time to go enjoy the summer holidays before coming back into new classes and welcoming new faces. We hope everyone has an amazing Summer and we'll see you all in September.

The HeadStart team will deliver a Holiday Activity Programme specifically aimed at year 6 children who are about to start secondary school in September and who would benefit from further support.
The 4-day programme will run from Monday 29th July until Thursday 1st August, 10am – 2pm at Ings Farm Primary School, Redcar.

We are so proud of Mrs Berry, who in the last week was announced as the best member of staff across the WHOLE TRUST for 2023/24! This includes all adults in every academy, and is the most amazing award, and well deserved for the incredible efforts she goes to every day!
Mrs Berry said, "I am absolutely honoured that I recieved the TVED Diamond Champion Award last week. I would like to express my gratitude to all of the incredible and amazing children, parents and staff over the past 24 years! Without you all I would not be the Diamond Champion!"
