Weekly Round up
As quick as a flash, the term is over!
We’ve had a lovely last week celebrating Easter with two incredible spring bonnet competitions, and huge numbers of parents joining us to show off the children’s creations. It was amazing to see the amount of support we had for the day, and the fundraising effort was a huge success with a total of £437.40 being raised.
We’ve also had lots of parental engagement sessions this week, with children sharing their learning with their families, and undertaking lots of practical activities together.
Our Year 3 class have also been out at the latest round of sports events, and did a wonderful job representing school and loving the range of games they had to complete.
We would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone in our school community for all you do to support us and the children, and wish you all a safe and happy Easter.
See you in the summer term!
B1R will be showing off what they’ve been doing for the last week of term.
Last Thursday, B1R invited our families into school for an afternoon of Easter themed fun.
We made Easter bonnets, Easter baskets and decorated yummy Easter cookies. We had lots of fun!
We then enjoyed showcasing our finished Easter bonnets at our Easter bonnet parade on Tuesday.
Each week we have an ‘Awesome Attendance’ competition for the class or classes with the highest attendance. The class with the highest attendance will receive a letter and the first class to spell out ‘Awesome’ receives a treat for the whole class.
Which class will be the first to receive that treat?
This weeks winners are…….3L Congratulations!!!

As we are all being affected by the cost-of-living crisis, we have a small stock of preloved uniform and coats/jackets that parents can come and purchase, all we are asking for is a donation. This will be open for you to come and have a look on a Tuesday & Thursday between 08.50 – 09.15 and 14.40 – 15.00 via the main office.
You can also get your children’s uniform here.
Lollipops have a preloved rail out on the shop floor with various items on including polo tops, trousers, sweatshirts/cardigans, shoes, plimsolls, summer dresses etc. All items on the rail are free for anyone to take, they just ask for customers to be considerate of others when taking items. There is a box for anyone who would like to make donations which we then add to the rail.
