What an eventful week it has been, with a number of bubbles unfortunately having to self-isolate and work at home. We are thinking of you all, and hope you are keeping in touch with your teachers and friends via Showbie.
Our assembly theme on Monday was Motivation and Drive, and we discussed how these qualities are needed by a range of sports men and women, especially tennis and football stars at the moment, as well as those competing in the Tokyo Olympics later this month. We reflected on when we had used those qualities as well. On Wednesday, Mr Long talked about Honesty, as part of our Character Education work.
Next week, all children will be moving to their new year group/classroom and working with their new teacher and learning assistant. They will be undertaking an exciting project on “The Olympics”.
To avoid any confusion, all children will be collected and dismissed from their existing doors/areas at their current start and finishing times. Look out for some Home Learning ideas for over the summer holidays that we would appreciate you supporting your children with please.
Children who are entitled to income Free Based School Meals will receive WONDE vouchers to support them over the summer holidays.
Vouchers for eligible families will be released this week.
